GiveDirect is an online fundraising platform used by U.S. based charities to process charitable contributions, event registrations, and membership dues online.

An essential part of our services that you receive when you complete a transaction through our platform is to receive communications from us through email. We communicate with you about your donations and payments to the charities using our service. Please be aware that you cannot opt-out of receiving transaction-related messages from us.

In general, we do not remove personal information that is associated with transactions you have made on our platform. You may request to have your personal information removed from our platform using the Contact Us section of this site. If your personal information is removed, we will retain general information about your past transactions, such as date, amount, and the charity the contribution was given to, but your personally identifiable information will no longer be associated with those transactions. Please note that we do not control information that recipient charities have copied out of our platform.
7. Children
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13, we will take appropriate steps to delete that information. If you become aware or believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us as provided in the Contact Us section.

When you make a donation or place an order on our website, all of your information, including your credit card number and contact address, is transmitted through the Internet using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. SSL technology causes your browser to encrypt your information before transmitting it to our secure server.
